About Me:

As an aquatic ecologist for the Biological Surveys and Assessment Group, my main job is to conduct field surveys for threatend and endangered species throughout the state of Illinois. In addition, I have done research on the efficacy of vernal ponds created to preserve amphibian species in need of conservation, the spatial ecology and demography of Blandings Turtles (Emydoidea blandingii) and on the status, distribution, and landscape genetics of Jefferson Salamanders (Ambystoma jeffersonianum).
