"Annelidically Speaking: updates for 2013." Invited presentation at the 27th  annual meeting of the Florida Association of Benthologists, Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, Eastpoint, Florida, 5-7 November 2013.

As an invited lecturer at the SUNY-Oneonta Biological Field Station at the Thayer Farm north of Cooperstown, NY, June 21-23, for undergraduate and graduate students in the summer field course entitled 'NY Stream Biota: Identification and Ecology' led by Jeffrey Heilveil, MJW gave several presentations during a 3-day period:  introduction to the Phylum Annelida;  field and lab demonstrations focusing on collecting, sample processing of annelids and other macro invertebrates;  introduction to the taxonomy and ecology of aquatic and terrestrial oligochaetes.

"Annelidically Speaking: updates for 2014." Invited presentation at the 28th  annual meeting of the Florida Association of Benthologists, St. Petersburg College - Clearwater Campus, Clearwater, FL, Nov. 5-7.

"Annelidically Speaking - 2015." Invited presentation at the 63rd  annual meeting of SFS, Milwaukee, WI, 17-21 May 2015.

During participation in the 13th International Symposium on Aquatic Oligochaeta (ISAO), sponsored by Masaryk University and convened in Brno, Czech Republic, Sept. 7-11, MJW gave 3 talks: 'A History of the 13 triennial International Symposia on Aquatic Oligochaeta, 1979–2015', 'In memoriam: Dr. Beatrice M. Sambugar' (coauthored with Drs. Enrique Martinéz-Ansemil and Patrick Martin), 'Annelidically Speaking 2015'. In addition, as General Secretary of the ISAO Group, Mark organized and chaired the symposium business meeting.
