Meg Kline Brussee

The focus of my M.S. thesis research is the reproductive biology and physiology of round goby (Neogobius melanostomus) in Lake Michigan. For females, we are describing spawning timing and effort in two proximate harbors of southwest Lake Michigan. We have also used oocyte histology to verify Gonadosomatic Index (GSI) standards used for female round goby. For males, our focus is on sperm competition between two distinct male reproductive morphs.
