I am a hunter recruitment specialist at the Illinois Natural History Survey for the Hunter and Trapper Recruitment (HTR) program in the state. We use a science-based approach to improve R3 (recruitment, retention, and reactivation) of hunters and educate the public about the benefits of hunting. We aim to facilitate education and mentorship of new hunters through a variety of workshops around Illinois. My background is in wildlife and habitat management in Georgia and human dimensions of deer management in North Dakota. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, shooting, photography, and horseback riding.
