Primary focus is the ecology and biosystematics of the Aphididae. Also am responsible for routine identification of aphids, thrips and mites. Biology/systematics of aphids; ID of aphids and some mites; curation of aphid collection

Migration of soybean aphid other aphids of economic interest in the midwestern States using a suction trap network with traps in 10 states.

Biology of the soybean aphid, overwintering strategies, other hosts and migration.

Survey of the aphids of the Midwest.
