Systematics, phylogeny, zoogeography, faunictics, nymphal morphology of Cicadina (Homoptera); computer databases, Internet (including ASP technology).Conduct research on the systematics and biodiversity of Membracoidea (leafhoppers and related insects). Will involve comparative morphological study of the immature stages of representatives of the major membracoid lineages, developing a character state matrix based on these studies, analyzing data using phylogentic methods and prepare manuscripts for publication. |
