Predatory Groups: Dermaptera
Members of the order Dermaptera are recognized by pincers at the tip of the abdomen. These structures are used to hold prey while it is being consumed. The predaceous species feed on soft bodied insects (e.g. aphids, leaf hoppers, larvae of Coleoptera and Lepidoptera).
